Latihan Institusi Warga Tertentu Scholarship Award 2008 is now open for application for students who intend to pursue full time or part time degree programmes at approved institutions of higher learning.

It aims to provide less academically inclined but politically ambitious young Malaysian males with the requisite minimum academic credentials essential to their eventual careers in politics and public office.

The prestigious LIWaT scholarship is funded by a €114 million endowment fund from the Big Boys Guns Foundation with an annual disbursement of US$500,000.

Criteria :
* Physically attractive male Malaysian citizen
* Age below 25
* Below average first degree results (CGPA below 2.0), university dropout an added advantage

Programmes of Study:
* Forensic Medicine
* Criminal Law
* Islamic Jurisprudence
* Defence Studies (Explosive Demolition)

Applications can only be made by approaching the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak in person at his office in Putrajaya or his residence in Kuala Lumpur.
