KLIA Vs LCCT
Dear KLIA,
We, the cheapskate people of Bolehland, would like to let you know that we are very determined people.
We won’t back down because you have downgraded the airport (LCCT) to something similar to Phnom Penh or Medan. Making us walk to our planes under the hot sun or the pouring rain like we used to at our beloved Subang Airport in 1972 (minus the thick plastic frame glasses, flowery tight shirts and bell-bottom pants) will only make us more determined to get on our cheap flights. We are cheapskates! We don’t mind the one-hour long queue and fighting to check-in our luggage. We also don’t care if the nasi lemak in the “low cost carrier terminal” is actually RM9.90 per plate. We just bring our own roti kaya.
No matter how hard you make us get on our Air Asia planes, we will still do take our cheap flights. We are truely determined to make sure that the new LCCT will be 10 times busier than you are!
Yours truely,
Shagacheapokia

No frill airlines are here to stay and great for short hops. It will pose a big threat to the big carriers. Wonder if MAS could weather another storm ahead??

NO frills aiines are here to stay…but not as a threat to MAS or big carriers David….its an absolutely different level of playing field…they overlap in a very very insignificant percentage

we took a bus to Genting on Saturday and found that a bus ride to LCC-T costs only RM9, I think Tony is determined to keep LCC-T busy too.
Personally, I’ll take fly with Singapore Girls anytime, but AirAsia gets my vote when it comes to good airline governorship.
meanwhile, Tuna: have fun swimming in Aceh!
